About

The Center for Psychological Services is an organization of mental health professionals dedicated to finding creative solutions for life’s challenges.

In addition to the professionals affiliated with Center for Psychological Services, we also share office space with independent consultants, who maintain separate professional practices at our locations.

Our mission is to help you navigate the stormy times and guide you in finding your own map for personal fulfillment and happiness in your life choices.

Life’s challenges can take many forms and occur at all ages and in all areas of life. Some people want to achieve greater success at school or at work. Others seek closer personal relationships or confront major life changes, such as marriage, having children, divorce, step parenting, illness, or death. Sometimes we must face specific emotional problems, feelings of anxiety, depression, or personal inadequacy.

At the Center for Psychological Services, people learn to identify challenges and resolve conflicts in order to enhance their success and their ability to cope effectively with daily living. We have over 35 years of experience guiding people to make the best possible decisions for themselves. Our programs have proven highly effective in promoting personal growth and competence, and our range of expertise ensures the highest quality, whether you seek personal counseling or professional consultation.

We can develop programs to meet your particular needs. Or, join us for issue specific workshops and seminars offered throughout the year.

Our Psychoeducational Department offers comprehensive evaluations designed to address the needs of families seeking specific information about their children and of adults seeking insights into their own development. Our team of clinical, school, educational, and neuropsychologists is skilled in identifying areas that may hinder successful growth. We assess a wide range of concerns, including academic challenges, learning disabilities, anxiety, social and emotional difficulties, adjustment issues, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, neurodivergent behaviors, career exploration, and the impact of neurological conditions, such as concussions.

Additionally, we conduct testing to meet the requirements for private school admissions and entrance into public school Gifted programs. The results of these assessments enable parents and educational professionals to make informed decisions and provide the most appropriate educational opportunities for each child.
