Professional psychotherapy and counseling are available for individuals, couples, and families. We work with children, teenagers, and adults on concerns that range from temporary upsets to problems of a deeper and more complex nature. We help our clients work on and resolve specific emotional and social problems in ways that help them relate better interpersonally and achieve more satisfying lives.
Psychiatric consultation is also available for diagnosis and to develop a treatment plan. We can help determine whether psychopharmacologic intervention is needed, and when appropriate, start and monitor the use of medications.
Our Psychoeducational Department provides thorough evaluations for families concerned about their children’s development and for adults seeking insights into their own growth. Our group of experts include clinical, school, educational, and neuropsychologists. They identify barriers to success in areas such as academic challenges, learning disabilities, social-emotional issues, ADHD, autism, neurological conditions, neurodivergent behavior, career opportunities, etc. We also conduct testing for private school admissions and public-school Gifted programs. From the results of these assessments parents and educators can make informed decisions to support the child’s educational needs.
